Evoka // Cries from the Castlegate Empire

Subway recently licensed Evoka's song "Reborn" for use in their latest ad campaign that began running last week on TV & Radio. Evoka lived off Subway while in LA during the pre-production phase of their record, so it's nice to get some payback :)

Evoka's debut release will be entitled "Cries from the Castlegate Empire". The album is waiting in line to be wrapped up in Los Angeles by Dan Leffler [Jagger, Cash, Weezer] @ the Rick Rubin's compound. Everyone is excited to release this piece of history to the world. It's been a long process dealing with record labels, trials & tribulations, but it will see the light of day. Evoka's currently making plans, and the release date will be announced very soon.

So, Evoka will be laying low for a bit, regrouping until the album is ready for release, building a new team, and then hitting it full storm. Along with the new album's release, there will be a new website, Enhanced cd w/ video on the release, new merch etc etc. So stay tuned, and thanks again for all your posts, & messages, it means a lot.
