The cd package artwork for our debut "Cries From the Castlegate Empire" has been nominated as a finalist in the Independent Music Awards. The design/photography was helmed by our very own "Ledbetter" and his firm "Airtype Studio".

Happy New Year / December 28, 08

The Evoka family wishes you a Happy New Year! We have not broken up, nor are we dead. We've been busy on the side. Taylor just completed building his sick new home. Ledbetter has been busy winning design awards around the world and having kids. Pete has been on the road with OURS.

Price was released from his duties in this band, and his job at Ledbetter's company Airtype, back in August. That's the down low.




CMJ Charts! / March 19, 08

For the 2nd week "Cries from the Castlegate Empire" has broken the CMJ top 200 charts, currently at #191!

CMJ Charts, 2 weeks in... / February 25, 08

Well we are two weeks into our CMJ Radio campaign, and last week we debut on the charts at #630 of over 900, and after one week we have jumped up 400 or so spots to #219 above some notable artists including: Eddie Vedder, Against Me, Angels & Airwaves, White Stripes, Artic Monkeys and many more...  We still have a ways to go to get where we want to be, so keep requesting EVOKA on your favorite college radio station.

Thanks for all your support.  Also, If you are in the greater Madison WI area, be sure to listen for "White Flag" on 97.1 FM as it was just picked up into regular rotation this week.
